Air Tightness Testing

It’s an important measurement tool of the thermal efficiency of a building. It also is used to identify defective elements of both the design and building fabric.

The result of which is cheaper heating bills and a more environmentally friendly building. It also is a building control requirement

Aim

To provide a fast and reliable air tightness testing service on both domestic and commercial buildings.

What We Do:

  • Offer free pre-construction advise on air tightness performance at design stage
  • Liaise with Design SAP SBEM consultants to ensure design target air test result is achievable with proposed form of construction
  • Full 3D model of building ensuring accurate building volumes and envelope areas
  • Mid construction site inspections to identify problematic areas
  • Liaise with site personnel to ensure testing carried out at times which don’t cause delays
  • Carry out Air Permeability test in accordance with ATTMA TSL 1 & 2 Test Standard
  • Identification of defects and free re test if required
  • Provision of detailed test report and ATTMA Certificate

We are fully accredited with the Air Tightness Testing Membership Association ATTMA and receive rigorous annual auditing to ensure compliance

We have Level 1 & 2 accreditation allowing for multi fan testing of major commercial buildings.

Risk Assessments & Method Statements available on all jobs, all staff are fully trained, insured, competent and hold valid CSR cards.

We are fully accredited with the Air Tightness Testing Membership Association ATTMA and receive rigorous annual auditing to ensure compliance
